Humanistic Person-Centred Counselling

I am Blondine.

I’m a Humanistic Person-Centred Counsellor, having completed a 4-year Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.

I abide by and adhere to the strict code of confidentiality aligned with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) ethical framework for good practice and code of conduct.

My approach underpins honesty, genuineness, confidentiality and is totally non-judgmental.

We all experience challenges and difficulties in our lives and sometimes there’s a need to reach out to someone who will listen caringly and provide realistic support and guidance. I can be there alongside you, providing a safe and confidential space in which you can explore your experiences positively.

Accepting you unconditionally, while providing a safe space for you to address and explore your concerns, thoughts, feelings, and emotions. I will not give you advice or tell you what to do. My aim is to assist you in finding new perspectives that facilitates positive change.

You will have the autonomy to lead each therapy session as is comfortable for you at your own pace as I listen and support you. I will hold you compassionately in that safe space and together we will explore the emerging issues and work out possible options and/or solutions that work for you.

Who I can help

I work with adults aged 21 and over, as well as counsellors in training.

I specialise in working with clients who are experiencing different challenges, such as abuse, bereavement, loss, anxiety, anger management, depression and traumas.

What I can do

I offer online, telephone and face-to-face counselling in a safe, convenient and confidential location.

Before your first session, I offer a FREE 15-minute telephone consultation to determine whether I am the right counsellor for you. It also gives me the opportunity to understand why you are seeking counselling.

If we agree to work together, we will arrange a 1 hour session. In this session, an assessment will be carried out as a measurement to determine levels of psychological distress and a working agreement is signed on which our therapeutic relationship is formed.

In this session, you will be expected to sign a working contract on which our therapeutic relationship will be built. In your first session, you may feel anxious and not know how therapy works or what you are hoping to achieve from counselling.

I will provide a calm, peaceful and confidential space for you to be able to discuss your reasons for therapy, your desired outcomes and any questions you may have for me.
